Dr. Poppen is amazing! I was nervous to have a male doctor but he makes you feel comfortable, he listens to your concerns, he makes you feel heard. I have endometriosis and have been dismissed so many times and he has never done that! Thank you Dr. Poppen.

I hadn't been to a gynecologist for 4 years, I googled a place to go to and this one had good reviews. I came here after a disappointing appointment at Barton. The office is clean, beautiful, and everyone I spoke with today was kind and professional. My appointment was with Kyla, who took the time to not only listen to me but also to ask questions and empathize with my situation. At no point did... they make me feel as if I don't know what's going on with my own body. They did not speak down to me, dismiss me, or minimize my concerns. Kyla explained everything in terms I could understand and gave me options. She also took the time to do a thorough exam and as a result, found something we could do something about right away. That was not my experience elsewhere. Overall, I left feeling validated and cared about. I am confident that if there is a bigger underlying issue causing my health concerns, this team will find it and advise me on the best way to treat it. 100% worth the drive from Tahoe, if you are looking for a great doctor - make an appointment here.read more
